How ridiculous were those shots? Everyone talks about how awful we played, but if he doesnt hit those 3's that were almost closer to half court than the 3 point line we win in regulation fairly comfortably, probably a nice 6-8 pt win assuming we make our fts.

But you knew as soon as he took them they were going in. :bang::bang::bang:

True. But what's even worse is if he missed them, Georgetown would've gotten the rebound both times.

It really is strange. I felt the same way. As soon as he let go im like ughhhhh count it.

Dion was really up on him the second time too.

Whatever UK would have won by 30 against them.

Now the apologists can't even use the excuse "well he normally would never make that shot".

Sure, those were bombs, but how many open looks did they miss prior to that? They were 5-21 from 3 last night.

They missed some open ones but I think part of that was by design. Our forwards/guards were really overplaying everything.

Definitely were, just saying in a game where the other team shoots 5-21 from 3 (including a 38% shooter going 1-8) I don't think you can really play the game of taking away a couple of the (admittedly) long ones that they did manage to make.

I didn't think Clark's 3s were that ridiculous really. He is a very good shooter, it's not like it was their center hitting it from out there. And one of them was basically unguarded. Yeah, it's a long shot, but plenty of players have range out to 26-28 feet.

We were lucky they missed so many wide open threes in the first half to be honest. These things have a tendency of balancing out eventually.
