Instead of inventing ways to cheat, maybe he should focus on getting his massively disappointing squad to actually play good basketball.

thats a serious case of hater hating. they were down 3... they got their best clutch player an open 3. that is ALL coaches can do. play percentages. he executed his role perfectly. keep in mind, i am a hawks fan... i have a legit vested interest in the Nets losing.

Also, I wish the same on these idiot college hoop coaches (like Pitino) who spend half the game on the court and even direct their players where to go on offense, while being on the court.

Jason Kidd is also my all-time favorite NBA player, and essentially my childhood hero, for what it's worth.

What kind of stunt did he pull tonight? That was downright bush. If he had some credibility as a coach, perhaps it would be overlooked, but right now he has none..and this makes it worse.

Why would the Nets hire someone with NO coaching experience when their lineup is geared to a short window / win now structure. ??????

See I think that was completely acceptable. If a coach needs to be dribbled into for the refs to actually do something about them being on the floor I am for it. He had every right to be in that spot on the court as a player. I hate coaches who come onto the floor like Pitino or Buzz Williams.

As for kid he is a compete dirtbag for the way he treats women. The fact that he was essentially given a pass by mainstream media, fans, and the NBA is embarrassing.

Agreed, I have no problem with a player dribbling into a coach who is on the floor. I'd also have no problem with a player firing a pass into one of these coaches' faces (like Pitino), though that might be going a bit too far for some.

Coaches need to stay off the court, during play.

wasn't Kidd the player who led a revolt at Cal. to get a white coach fired and replaced with a black coach. That's when Boeheim came out and said no player would ever dictate be allowed to do that under him. J.B. was pissed.

By the second half of the year I wouldn't bet against the nets being a top team in the NBA. Williams is a second half player, Lopez needs to get healthy, and Garnett/Pierce are winners.
