- talking about conference changing, some people say "you'll adjust" but in a few years he wonders whether we will be in a better place than we were. Money wise, yes. Fan base, etc? Maybe not. Some teams aren't adjusting well or doing well money wise in new conferences. Regions are basically gone, it's been done for football and revenue, is that the right reason?
- lost three of top four scorers, how do you motivate yourself? Every year you're 0-0, there's no carryover. You're only as good as your next game. If you don't have that focus you won't be successful. You'd better get good players, then you can stay in this business awhile.

SVP asked about conference reallignment and moving from a conference you love to a new one? JB said its being done for money and that Maryland will not enjoy playing Iowa or Northwestern instead of North Carolina or NC State. Conferences used to be about location, but not anymore the expansion is being done for football. Is that the right reason for all this movement, JB doesn't know University Presidents/Chancellors know more than him?

Kinda odd how short that was. Seemed to be literally 2 minutes into the interview when Van Pelt said "Coach, we have about 30 seconds...". Maybe he was a couple minutes late calling in.
