I think back to scoop in 09-10 imo, he couldn't run a no high post offense, and drive much to late in the season,but he didn't mind alittle pressure. In comparison Joseph could be faster then scoop that year as a confidence builder and that team pretty much led the ncaa in assists.

He is just very tentative, plays scared, doesnt want the defender near him, and is reacting on the court instead of enforcing.  Hes more of a sg with some handle until to this happens.  IMO it doesn't help he doesn't have a isolation forward or guard to help him either.
He biggest issue is confidence right now.  I rarely believe confidence is a big issue(these guys go through to many repititions to avoid that). He doesn't know what he is yet, hes lacking identity, and I think that can take a toll on his confidence. Either that or hes a pg who wants to play SG in his mind right now. The defenition of pg is pressure here I am come and get me, go ahead and get extra physical with me.
