Not that last night was all that harsh tbh, except perhaps in the context of the prior statements.  His numbers at the time of the first press conference were pretty good, and didn't seem to warrant the level of criticism being heaped upon him - because of an article Chad Forde wrote.

I still think it's the same as a teacher or professor calling up some kid in front of everyone to announce that the class genius got an .  I'm just not sure how many people that motivates - it seems more about embarrassing the kid than anything else.  Again, I always try to qualify it with the fact we don't witness practices, but it still doesn't change my opinion that it seemed a tad much at the time.

So the thing you're hoping for is that Chris has a gut check and starts putting up the same type of production that he was putting up before the first time he was bashed?  I suppose that's a lofty goal, kind of, to get back where you kind of were...and if he does, do we do it all over again to ensure more gut checks will follow?
