I don't think he's using the press conferences after games to motivate anyone. He's just answering the questions and giving his honest opinion of all the players. He's obviously frustrated with the play of the team. He used the term "we" yesterday when talking about getting chris ready. He said he played great to start the year and now can't understand how they can't get him to play better. It's not like chris is the only player he is giving an honest assessment of. It seems like what they are working on in practice isn't showing up in games and that has to be frustrating for any coach.

When I first read this thread I thought it was a lot worse till I actually watched the presser.

When posters have to point out that chris took the ball to the basket and was aggressive as a positive then you know he's not playing well. If that's all we can say as a positive it's not good. I know I expected him to be more consistent by this time of the season and I'm sure JB did as well. You can point out some good plays, but their are more negative plays than positive plays at this point. 1-7 from the field and 1-4 from the line isn't anything to be overly excited about. At what point do we just realize he is what he is this year? I also really hope what JB is saying in the pressers doesn't  affect him at all because that would be pretty weak. If it was coming from an outsider then I could see him being upset, but from his coach shouldn't really bother him.
