Initially my head was thinking along these lines but after reading many posts, listening to JB's presser and some time thinking about the situation, I tend to think it was the best way to finish yesterday's game. Of course this assumes we want the W at nearly any cost and JB will always go with trusted players at crunch time. We started the game with only 4 of our trusted five players from last year plus AG who has performed well in the first five games as a two year veteran transfer. A combination of both our offense and defense struggling along with Northeastern playing aggressively and hitting open threes immediately rained on our parade. It did not get any better as we struggled, led by poor shooting from both AG and Buddy turning almost into a 3 against 5 game. As the game struggled into the second half, all of us plus JB kept thinking we would eventually come out of the fog and separate from Northeastern, but it only got worse. Something had to change and Kadary had to get into the game to hopefully spark the offense. I think JB had his mind made up to rotate AG and Buddy and go with which ever one played better. Unfortunately AG had a couple of bad plays back to back and he was gone. Both AG and Buddy were adding very little, it was just AG seemed to be in a funk and all out of rhythm while Buddy was playing "Buddy-like normal" just poor shooting day. We got lucky and pulled out the W. The unfortunate part was for JB to make some of the ugly statements about AG's play in the press conference. But that is water over the damn, let's hope AG has tough skin and comes out and plays one heck of a game on Saturday. I think it was just a bad day. Good luck on Saturday AG!
