JB's press conference tonight

I'm guessing this one:

Boeheim: I'm excited about the move we're making. ACC is a challenge. Better league than league Connecticut's going to be in.

The one that caught my eye was that if GT goes on to lose tonight they'll be the 1st team ever to lose to a team seeded at least 5 spots lower in 4 straight years...

The question was "How do you feel about going to the ACC next year?"

Boeheim: I'm excited about the move we're making. ACC is a challenge. Better league than league Connecticut's going to be in.

and people want him to go.

incredulous.

Oh Lord

Boeheim on Flagrant 1 calls: The reason was to protect a kid from a concussion with blow to head. I've never seen a concussion from elbow.

Maybe he didn't see the Montana kid get KO'd by Triche?

Boeheim: Most of them are caused by the defender putting his face right there. There's a huge problem with the rule.

Of course that's true as well

He obviously didn't see my daughter get a concussion from an elbow to the head playing hs soccer a few years ago cost her four games!

Your daughter should learn not to put her face anywhere near someone's elbow or knee...

Honestly, that rule is so dumb. It basically rewards defenders for playing off-balance with their heads out.

I thought the uconn comment is a joke initially. I cannot believe he take a cheap shot at uconn like that. It shows how out of control and arrogant he is.

I thought your comment was a joke because I can't believe any actual Syracuse fan would care whether anyone took a shot at uconn, much less Jim Boeheim.

seriously.

"'Press Conference': The Very Best of James Arthur Boeheim" should be a 2 hour epic homage, edited/directed by Scorsese.

it would win best comedy, documentary and drama.

yet people here wouldnt watch it because JB is a big meanie.

Oh Lord

Jim Boeheim can't touch Bobby Knight.

I think they need to change the interpretation. Now, if the elbow is above the defender's shoulders, it is a violation. But what if the defender is several inches shorter? Or the defender is in an exaggerated guarding crouch? They ought to change it to whether the offensive player's elbow is above his own shoulder.

The dips on the Boneyard, led by their fearless dip leader Fishy, are not happy about JB's comments.

For a program that thinks its so far above us, their fans spend a lot of time whining about Syracuse.

They had a nice run, but after next year they're a mid major.

I loved the comment. But if you listen to it, I didn't think he meant it as it sounds. He was just saying the ACC is a much better option than staying the Old Big East/America12, and I think he mentioned UConn because their UConn, and not Cincinnati or USF.

Maybe you're misinterpreting the meaning. JB could be rationalizing the move to the ACC. That he doesn't really like the move but realizes that if SU had done nothing our situation would be that of UConn and he prefers the route that SU has taken.

Yep. Their "we made the Big East" comments are laughable, to say the least.
