when you dont have the guards then the press in practice isnt as good, you could see as the game went on the press got quicker and more decisive. we will in 3-4 weeks hopefully have 3 guards plus buddy.washington and then hughes/doligy/oshea and still decide whether to go big in the back or quick in the back..

just cant get so many dumb fouls like tonight

Impressed with how good we potentially could be, but not impressed with what I saw last night. If we shoot anything like last night, we lose to almost every ACC team. I'm sure it'll be tough to duplicate how crappy we looked, but I don't blame Boeheim for giving them grief. It wasn't just how poorly they shot. They were beaten far too often on the boards & their intensity level for an opener was pathetic. I expect a whole lot more than that moving forward.
