JB didn’t outright say it, but rather alluded to the key reason why we got in: we avoided playing sub 250 RPI teams.

Okie St: 5 sub 250 RPI teams
I think the other bubble teams had 3 or 4 each on their schedule, if not more. Also, we went 6-9 against the NCAA field. Majority of our losses were against the top seed lines. I guess we finally won the RPI/computer model game.

Funny - until the last 10 days or so, Texas Southern was in the 260's until they went on their run to win their conference. Now 222!
