I came in expecting this

BC managed to have a worse passing day in 2009 i'm grinning here

dave shinskie 1-12 for 4 yards and 2 picks. Smith went 1-12 with 2 picks but racked up nearly double digit yards hahah

NORTHEAST!!

i can't believe that smith's game was only the worst they've seen in six years haahahahahahahahahaha

no wonder they get tens of superfans at their games

ryan cubit makes an appearance with a negative passer rating 4-14 for 27 yards and 4 picks. NEW JERSEY!

This game did wonders for our defensive rankings. We moved up to 99th in total defense! Defense 99th Offense 118th

Ugh ... Just ugh

Spectacular. I'm too lazy to check - were we better statistically on offense in '14? Can a team be ranked lower than 118? Has Syracuse football in it's 100+ years ever been ranked lower?

The next coach is really, really lucky. Hard to go lower than the bottom of the ocean.

It's out of 127 teams.

BC is ranked 125, but #1 defense. #1 defense finished 3-9

Tulsa finished with the 124th ranked defense and 13th ranked offense. 6-6 record.

Which is even more amazing since they were 3-9 in 2013 and 2-10 in 2014.

Suffice it to say that anyone who watched that entire game is a true diehard and should never have their fandom questioned ever again.

We are 119th our of 128 in terms of offensive yards per game. But UConn (120th) and BC (126th) were worse, and Army (11th) and Penn State (108th) were only slightly better, so we're near average for the northeast!

So you are saying it could be worse?

it's the worst passing day against SU since 2000 for sure and it's not even close to the next worst game

a -17 rating. my god. miles worse than anything we've ever seen on our side.

here's our worst of the worst

Just goes to show what lack of experience/talent at the QB position can do to a team.

Clearly, the problems at QB hurt Shafer from day one - that loss against Penn State at Met Life was the product of poor play from the QB position.

which means we are going to hire a northeast sorry i mean NORTHEAST defensive coach with a pro style offense. BC BLUEPRINT

When the team with the #1 defense in the nation (BC) goes 3-9, it's time to reevaluate the old adage that defense wins championships.

watching the game Sat did anyone think they were the best we saw this year? just a slightly more accurate HS qb and we would have moved the ball pretty well on them and scored 30+

how did they shut everyone else down?
