Wonder why they picked JB? I mean besides the fact that he has been coaching forever at SU, there are other disciplinarian types that may have been good choices as well. Seems like Coach K with his background would have been a good choice.
I agree with JB though - kids today may be a little more knowledgeable about the world, but they want to win and they want to be led from what I've seen. I liked Greensburg's statement about the why's of something - that's also true. I guess the old days of because I said so aren't around anymore, but that's good as well. Knowing why a defense is so effective helps the kid buy in more.
