I’ve said this before, I only think he retires if it’s due to a medical issue or we get a third probation.
If JW wants him out before either of those, I think it’s going to be a tough discussion.
The Hop situation was a disaster. If what I’ve read is true, re JB advocating for GMac and JW saying no, it sure feels like we’re heading towards a crash landing with the way this plays out.
I can’t stress how much I hope I’m wrong.
The only encouraging in that whole post is ADJW saying no to GMac.
Covid has likely granted us an extra year of Buddy and JB
Buddy will use his 5th year as a grad transfer at Duke
If he committed there in the 1st place, he'd be winning a National Championship this season. What are the chances he would spurn that dominate school out in Spokane a second time for a mediocre ACC school?
Nobody would be saying this. Because he would just be a piece of the pie. He likely wouldn’t be playing more than 15-25 minutes with how deep that team is. He’s a weapon he’s not a lead player who’s going to draw the top defending assignment. If he committed there in the 1st place, he'd be winning a National Championship this season.
Then everyone would complain that JB lost a kid right out of his own backyard. Literally.
