Jimmy 1st team AA

anyone know what he was studying as a graduate student? he should apply for another year and try his hand at an MBA or JD.

I am surprised that Marius wasn't a AA

I played with him at the ymca 4 or 5 years ago. If you told me he would average 14 ppg in the ACC back then nobody would believe you.
He used to play AAU with a Syracuse Nets team that was a year below me. We would practice/scrimmage together once or twice a week most of the spring and he wasn’t close to being their best player (still head and shoulders better than me).

Our teams were solid playing big boy tournaments but obviously below Syracuse Select and City Rocks in the region. Actually unbelievable that he turned into a guy that can score a non-flukey 30 burger against Dook.

Pretty damn cool that he got to live his dream and put up some numbers along the way.

He is still physically maturing. He should play another year of college basketball somewhere.

Some time in the distant future when everyone’s emotions return to normal, people will be embarrassed about how they talked about all three Boeheim’s this year. You may not like them, but they all bleed orange and worked their butts off to win games every time out. Jimmy and Buddy squeezed more out of their abilities than most players ever do.

Did we miss something ? We are sitting at home in March , that doesn't bother you?

Good for him. The academic part obviously isn't a surprise. Although he was overmatched physically at times, it was fun watching him use legit post moves and surprising how much touch he had off the glass.

He improved much as he learned to make a more decisive move to the basket to force his defender deeper into the paint and gave him better angels to finish at. His 3 point shooting improved also as he got more confident from the perimeter. IMO, he has another level to still get to. If the Ivy league players get granted the extra, which they should, he is going to get offers.
