Not because I did not think he was good enough to help, but because I was afraid JIMMY would have a nepotism factor and give him more minutes than Jimmy may have earned from court play. So far, I gotta say, both JIMMY and Jimmy have exceeded my expectations in terms of what each could contribute and also in terms of the managing the overall minutes allocation.

Five minutes into the game last night the guy sitting behind me turns to his neighbor and says that JAB needs to put Bennie in or else he is going to lose him. His buddy was calling Swider "Sweeder" but they didn't discuss who Bennie should go in for. I thought overall JAB did a great job with minutes distribution. No doubt it could and most likely be an issue as Bennie feels more comfortable but JAB did play all three forwards at the same time again last night so based on the matchup that could be a common occurrence.

Jimmy Benny and Cole are all very different players which is great. They each bring a dimension to the floor that is unique and will cause match up problems. JB is brilliant at game planning and he will by ACC play know the combos to use depending on who we are playing. I like these three guys and think that they compliment each other.

I don’t know if it’s because it was the opener, but I was surprised (and happy) with Jimmy’s minutes as far PT goes. I was scared to death he’d end up playing 35mpg, but I don’t think they’ll use him like that. Seems like Swider will get the most minutes out of the 3 forwards, but Benny and Jimmy will get plenty

I don’t see the comparison one bit. Hell Jimmy took more threes his first game than Marek seemingly took his entire career.


I get they’re both taller and white, but come on, comp isn’t even close.

JBIII played like this was his 3rd or 4th year on the team, most guys transferring in take half a season to really get going. Definite upgrade from Marek.
