He's in a pretty good situation if you ask me. its not like he is some high 4 star or 5 star with prototypical size who is just absolutely ready to play right now or next year as a redshirt Freshman. We have some nice weapons coming in. Hopefully we can see what he can do against BC, but i think he is a good fit for what we want in a QB. If he looks fairly solid, serving as the second string to Angeli for 1 to 2 years is not a bad spot to be in. He could easily get PT if Angeli were to get injured or banged up again. I can't imagine he would find a much better spot. He should be happy with where he is. This is all speculation mind you. Edit: Just realized your comment was in regards to Jakhari and not Carney.
