He tied Eddie Robinson today. I thought he had passed him already. One more W and he is #1 all time in D1 Ws. Gotta think he retires now.
Anyway I wanted to take a look at the all time list for HCs Ws. And I almost got sick. Frank Beamer is #11 all time in D1 Ws. Currently he is 65 years old. If he coaches another 9 years (till he is 74) and averages 9 Ws a year (the last 16 years he has had less than 10 Ws only 4 times) he will get to #4 all time. Having a list of Joe Pa, Eddie Robinson, Bobby Bowden, Beamer, and Bear Bryant looks like a Sesame Street One of these Things game.
