"Joey Wallace – RAP Elite – The second half of RAP Elite’s dynamic backcourt, Wallace was on a mission Sunday to win the championship. The son of former Syracuse standout John Wallace, Joey was the team’s leading scorer averaging better than 15 a game on the weekend. Wallace can score in a variety of ways and is a very good ball handler as well, which allows him to push in transition and make plays for others. He attacks the rim well, and has a very good sense of when to push the tempo with his great speed and athleticism."

"Joey Wallace (RAP Elite): Wallace is a multi-dimensional player for a RAP Elite team that made an impressive run to the semis. He played a point-forward type role where he did most of the ball handeling on the offensive end. He scored 22 points in a variety of ways in a second round victory over the Playaz. He also impacts the game on the defensive end, where he can guard a number of positions."

He is listed on the Greece-Athena beRecruited.com web site as being 6'3, 168 pounds. Class of 2015.

The picture below is of Big John, with Little John on the left (in gray) and Joey on the right (in black).

Is he a Syracuse-level recruit? Maybe a program kid? Or is he more of a mid-major guy?

Not going to lie SU is in it for the big fish but alot of the midmajors end up being more multidimentional players then the big fish in college when its all said and done.

Not sure what kind of level recruit he is, but I would love to see either Joey or Stevie Jr end up here.

Either / or might end up being important recruits, helping to shore up the backcourt point guard depth problem that's plagued 2013 / 2014 teams. Whether they ever emerge as starters or not.

What I also like about both is that they are always standing out in these AAU tourneys for their teams. So it's not like we're dealing with projects or players who are overmatched.

Joey Wallace is on the "radar" per an unnamed source. Hint it starts with S;)
