Did anyone hear his CBS sports radio update on the Jim Rome show today? He did the commercial update on how SU had been in and out of the tourney, every other game the past 2 weeks and wonders if JB mentioned retiring this year to influence the committee. Said history or names aren't supposed to have an effect, but they do. That's a CBS sports update or hot take? Weird

If he did, I applaud him, the selection committee owes us one for 07.

Kornheiser mentioned that there was no way the committee wouldn't put Boeheim in given his pedigree and the fact he may retire on a recent PTI. That is assuming its close. If we lose to GT and in the first round of ACC, lights out.

I don't really buy these conspiracy theories.

If you look at all the teams that have been surprise misses and surprise outs, it's generally the mid major missing out and the P5 getting in. With some exceptions, namely Iona and VCU about 5 or 6 years ago.

But Big P5 does not seem to get any favortism over small P5. For example when Kentucky was on the bubble about 4 years ago, their name did not get them over the finish line.
