And JB, despite his decades of experience and success, just hasn’t been able to figure out how to construct rosters and maintain the necessary continuity like he used to—while programs like MSU, Nova, Gonzaga, Baylor, Virginia, Purdue, etc. have shown that it can be done even in the current era. Fortunately we’ve stayed in the national conversation because of the golden age of 2008-14 and then all the NCAA tourney success over the past decade.
