Why would an LSU insider say their transfer portal QB throws more to defenders than receivers? They won't, they want the scholarship free.

These insiders you think exist and share this information have no reason to do so but do have reasons not to. Fair amount even get financial kick backs to not share said information. Ask my high school coach who told recruiters our best player was in the weight room all the time when I saw him there exactly 0. Guy got found out real quick in college that 4.4 with no strength equals no playing time BUT hey, he got his scholarship. Don't imagine that school recruits that HS anymore though and that coach is long gone. Gets even worse when HSs doctor grades to get kids eligible and in college they are lost. For every kid that makes it, there are 10 equally as gifted that don't for lots of these reasons and more.
