They can't take their scholarship away unless they aren't fulfilling their academic obligations or break rules. He swam in HS on a team that won the state championship and he received numerous medals. He got into an Ivy because of his swimming. The first two years on the team were ok but then other kids were recruited who swam faster and he saw less and less of the pool. It wasn't the reality he had envisioned.
