I think it is interesting that our two leading offensive threats have such strikingly different styles. Joseph is like Moten in that he scores his points so quietly, while Dion's points are dramatic and memorable. Watching tonight's game, I felt like Dion had 25 and Joseph had 6, but sure enough Joseph outscored Dion. Am I the only one who gets fooled this way?
And one other thought - while Joseph is a starter / star / leading scorer now, the depth of this team and the number of scoring options on the team has, in a way, made Joseph's role similar to his role as a sixth man in 09-10. He can score in bursts and pick his spots, and, despite the pre-season expectations, he does not need to carry this team. It might be bad for his NBA prospects (which I personally don't see anyway), but it is good for this team.
