According to her profile on SU Law's website, she got her JD at Missouri-Kansas City. Hopefully, she never got involved in a Kangaroo Court. (This is funny if you know CBB nicknames.)and went to West Point and SU Law. With a background like that ... this kid is spring-loaded.
Army ROTC scholarship? Good for him. Welcome to Syracuse.CNS kid.
He’s a walk on. Where his tuition funding comes from is irrelevant to the sanctioned scholarship count.Army ROTC scholarship? Good for him. Welcome to Syracuse.
Brings up a question though. Does a ROTC scholarship kid not count against our 85? If not, why aren’t we looking for more ROTC kids? Does Texas A&M use this?
That's the same as going to a military school, you commit to military service after you graduate in return for School being paid for.Army ROTC scholarship? Good for him. Welcome to Syracuse.

Exactly what I expected. My point was a military heavy school like TA&M could greatly complement their roster with ROTC kids.
Couple thoughts.Exactly what I expected. My point was a military heavy school like TA&M could greatly complement their roster with ROTC kids. How many ROTC players has SU had over the years? Maybe we could have more.
All good points. It would be interesting to know.Couple thoughts.
1) Rosters can only have 105 guys between a team’s last game of the season and the first day of classes the following fall semester. More guys can be on the roster once the Fall Semester starts. That’s 85 schollies + 20 walk ons in pre-season camp.
2) Football is a massive time commitment and ROTC is a massive time commitment. Not sure that’s for everyone.
3) I would bet there’s not a huge overlap in TAMU walk ons who are also in the Corps of Cadets.

Guessing, not just tuition. But, dining halls better be serving lobster and Ginza-quality sushi for that kind of money. Is that the tuition now at Syracuse? Absolute, unjustifiably, criminal.
