Judah Mintz named ACC Rookie of the Week (#5)

Hope he sticks around for another year. Pray everyone. Pray!
 
Love this guy Judah. Really would love for him to stay one more year, and let's grab a stud forward from the portal to match with him and get back to the tournament.
 
Unfortunately, he won't get ACC rookie of the year.

Big man, plays for Duke and is an exellent player. Filipowski.
 
Filipowski is good but Judah has better stats and has less to play with. Are there enough Duke haters in the NC mafia to make sure Judah wins?
 
He's showing he can shoot a little now. He'll be a late first round pick if he leaves this year in my opinion. First round pick is guaranteed money. I doubt he comes back, but I'd love him to.

Judah will be First Team All-Rookie for sure tho.

And, as was mentioned above - shudder to think how atrociously bad this team and season woulda been with snagging him so late in the cycle.

Despite the misery this season it is nice to have penetration on offense instead of the stand around the perimeter and hoist a long 3 offense which we'd grown accustomed.
 
It's ridiculous that Flip is the anointed one for ROTY. Judah has better stats and is more dominant, and it's not like Duke is a world beater this year, they're middle of the pack just like us.

ROTW is an arbitrary unit of measure and they play different positions. He's got more rebounds? Cool. Judah leads the league in steals. Apples and, ahem, oranges.

I'm also not saying Flip sucks or anything of the sort, just that it shouldn't be a runaway conversation like it appears to be.
