I don’t want any trouble”. (I wasn’t planning on using it…more so to scare the guy). That just made him even more angry once he saw I had a knife. He tried to wrestle it from me and was screaming to give him the knife and that he had a gun. Once I managed to put the knife back in my pocket that’s when he started hitting me. Just head and body blows in all directions. I went down pretty quick and was trying to just deflect. This was next to the old Best Buy entrance and the nail salon. There were staff and customers in the nail salon and no one shouted at the guy or tried to intervene. I was screaming for help because I honestly thought he was going to kill me. Eventually some onlookers further inside the mall (closer to the Macy’s entrance) ran towards him and chased him off. SPD came but they didn’t find him. They asked if I wanted to press charges but I have a young family and was afraid of personal consequences if I had to testify against him in court. I suffered a concussion and multiple facial fractures. It was pretty bad for a few weeks. Any kind of technology gave me really bad headaches. And he never did get my computer. I hadn’t even made it to the Apple store yet. The only silver lining to all of that was Apple botched my computer repair and they gave me a brand new unit out of the box. (I definitely got a security guard to escort me back to my car on the way out). Given what happened to me, I’m really glad that Juli is ok. That mall has turned into a real cesspool. [/QUOTE]
