Here are the actual high temperatures in Syracuse for each day in July 2020 compared to the average high, (based on stats that go back to 1901) and the difference that day, + or – as well as a running deficit or surfeit. Here is the website I used for these numbers:
The numbers are the date, the actual high, the historical average high, the net difference, the cumulative net since January 1st, the numbers of days we exceeded the historical average, the number of days we didn't reach it and the number of days we tied it.

Comment: And we thought June, (+107, 21-9-0) was a hot month In July we were +189 in degrees which was impressive but not as impressive as exceeding the averaged high 28 times in 31 days with one even. I’ve been keeping track of this since January 2014 and 28-2-1 is the relatively warmest month of the 79 I have charted, even though +189 is only the 10th warmest month in terms of degrees. The relatively warmest month was actually December 2015, when we went +329, 27-2-2. I’d rather do that in December than July.
