I had really thought that he was going to win one of the last three and put the whole issue to bed but he didn't. We didn't even come close and that both surprises and saddens me.

I can only assume that if he is retained that it is because we can't or won't buy out his contract. It will not be because of what any P5 school would consider acceptable performance.
