In the Orlando airport. They're honoring him at gtown game for his 34 rebound game in 1952 vs. Temple. Cool guy. Maybe some rebound love will rub off

Thanks to all who stopped by and said Hi, my Dad was really happy with the response from the crowd and getting to meet so many former players (from more modern eras) and even some elders who recalled seing him play. He'll be at practioce on Thursday and at the UConn game as well before heading back to Florida.
Unfortunately, nothing seemed to rub off as SU got hammered by G'town 48-30 on the boards. He'll keep trying to make some rebounding osmosis. We'll see.

I met him as I was getting a t shirt after the game! I tried getting a photo with him but some random person didn't know how to take a picture with my phone. It was great meeting him and he was a very nice man.

Really nice to see a player who helped build this program from so long ago back for a visit. The ovation for him was loud, long and heart felt. Billy Gabor was at a game a year or two ago as well.

When they said 34 rebounds, I assumed he was Jon Cincebox.
