we scored too fast at the end of the game

begone, no huddle!

kidding

the no huddle crowd can look at the bills playoff game against the browns in 1989 and have a lot of hope. similar game. average record, some discension in the locker room, ends up in a fast paced game and even though they lost, the offense was amazing and they stuck with it for 4 straight super bowl losses

not a perfect analogy because I really do think that's what marrone always wanted to do. but if you think it was a bit of an accident, no reason to think that accident won't stick

I just hope he runs it this weekend, blow out or no blow out and continues to do so. Tempo Temp Tempo, run it versus Stonybrook and run the ball right down their throat, run Smith, Gulley, Broyld, AAM. Doesn't always have to be pass happy, the tempo is the key, IMO.

I just hope they use Broyld enough so when he is in the game, the defense doesn't know it's going to be a screen pass to #1.

Tempo and keeping the d on edege is the key not the pass/ run ratio IMO

We obviously spent most of the preseason practicing at that tempo. We just had 600 yards of offense using that tempo. We better keep running it.

I hope they stick with the no huddle. I'm a proponent of picking your style and running it all the time. Wholesale changes on a weekly basis based on your opponent is no way to become proficient. We should have an offense that other teams have to prepare for, not the other way around.

Before anyone says we have to run whatever offense gives us the best chance to win each game, I am saying that by running the same offense, regardless of the opponent will give us the best chance to win as many games over the course of the season. Our NC chances are already gone (lol), and this Saturday is a long shot to begin with, so let's just run an up-tempo, no-huddle offense with the goal of improving from week to week.

Gee, all this time I thought our downfall was the punt coverage and lack of the understanding of the lateral pass. Nassib throwing a low pass to Sales caused that other turnover.

Nassib threw a bad pass, but Sales has to get some of the blame for the pick. When a receiver gets both hands on the ball in that position, it needs to be a catch.
