What's the Old school adage for drafting an NFL QB?...30 career Starts, 60 percent completion rating, 2.5-1, TD to INT ratio...McCord finished the regular season with 4326, 29-12 Passing TD/INT 65.3 percent completion percentage...

As a starter, he finishes with 7496 Yards, 51-18 TD-INT ratio...20-4 record...

Honestly, the narrative being talked about those Yappie OSU fans was he a dud, but he proved that wrong today, and over the course of his career at SU.

He should garner votes for Maxwell and Davey O'Brien, but that narrative from Columbus being slung all year was that he was a system QB. People are surprised we are 9-3, and the perception is we were a 6-6, 7-5 Middling "good SU team"...He leads the country in completions and yards, and he had 1 bad game with the 5 INTs...

I wonder how NFL scouts perceive him...Does he show out at combine, and personal interviews? I think he was a 3-4 round pick going into today...If he plays the bowl game, and he shows up, I think he has the momentum to be an early-Mid 2nd Rd pick...

Thank You RYAN DAY!...What ly d-ck head he is.

And did it all here with a below average OL and very good but probably not NFL level receivers
I think most of the teams that make the playoffs if offered would swap their WRs/TE for ours.

OL idk unit hard to judge because they were never as bad as they looked at times.

I hope going mid round does Kyle a service for his pro career. Like say Carolina takes him in the 4th. Hell have Bryce Young's job week 4 or 5 and won't give it back.

Running QBs are seriously in fashion and the elite guys right now all run but any other NFL era he goes first round.

Honestly, I thought the Giants should 1) Fire their GM for letting Barkley going, 2) Unfortunately let Daboll go (dealt a tough hand when Simple Jack Dan Jones is your 160M QB...He'd be one to keep an eye for O-Coordinator if Nixon cashes into a HC,)

Trade down to the 5-10 Range and take the best OL available and build the team from the trenches...I'm not impressed with Sanders (a Touch slow) ...With extra draft capital build up the front OL etc...

Anyways, getting back to McCord...I think he would be an excellent choice for the Giants in 3-4th round...Let him sit behind "Good Vibes" Drew Lock for a year...Brock Purdy should give teams hope that letting a mid-late rounder sit for a year who had a big time QB Coach in Matt Campbell instead of going after 'sexy and toolsy' players like Trey Lance and Anthony Richardson.

If McCord comes back and plays well in a Gator Bowl vs an SEC team, he's got helium...
