just watch how parker leads and then plants his elbow in the face of G

Is that a joke? In the second angle Parker's elbow is clearly on the outside of Gbinije's left shoulder. These have been great games with the refs coming out as a huge story in each, but let's not pretend the play was dirty.

The telling thing from the replay is Hood's left foot on the CJ drive. His foot is about 6 or 12 inches from the box when CJ starts going up. By the time contact is made it's about 18 inches from the baseline. His feet obviously weren't set when CJ made his move.

Gotta give Silent G props for getting in front of a 235 lb guy under a full head of steam. Brave man. If the first one is a block the 2nd one (CJ) is absolutely at block.

Time to get rid of the block charge calls in basketball. They are never called with consistentcy, much less correctly. They are probably the biggest cause of fans saying basketball is corruptly officiated.
Players can never be sure how the call will go and the officials become much to involved in deciding game outcomes. All such contact should become a simple play on unless some intentionally violent or dangerous contact is made.

What annoys me more as I watch it over and over is the official is walking away from the Fair play before the two even make contact ready to make his call.

Not sure he even watched it

Well, watching that clip confirms one thing: Duke lived up to their well-deserved reputation as floppers.

Horeshit call, 24 hours later.
