It seems like every time we are about to get any momentum, we find a way to lose.

So does that mean we come out and destroy Pitt in 2 weeks? It certainly would follow the pattern. Or do we have to wait until Louisville or Mizzou?

at this point who knows, really. They follow no consistent pattern or flow I've ever seen in all my year of following sports. It's a crap shoot with this team :bang:

This might be optimism that grows with each day that I separate myself from Saturday, but I think we rally and beat Pitt. Even though it may be half empty, I think we'll appreciate the friendly confines much more after that Minnesota game. I think the energy in that place really rattled us. Long term maybe it's good to experience that. That's probably the most deflating part of Saturday, just watching that team moving in a good direction with a sellout helping them out.

We're going to come out more focused next Friday. Week off, and returning players, will work wonders for us. Not to underestimate a Pitt team who has turned their own corner (and has beaten us 9 of the last 10 times), but I think they're going down by at least 2 TDs.

I heard SU was going to move the Pitt game to Nottingham HS so they can use the Dome on Oct 5th for the Lion King on ice.
