jyare davis was basically tyler roberson but far fewer rebounds. wanna know how eddie oompa lumpkin got so many boards ? it's cuz nobody else on the front line (let alone the team ) wanted to rebound. jyare was about 5 and bell 2. donnie freeman going down fattened up lumpkin's stats. and we had an amazingly poor defensive front line season . i do pity the poor smithy sweating down deep in the bowels of the nether regions of the dome having to hammer out the rims into a circle again after our opponents crushed them every possession ...

This all reminds of my buddy who took 7 years to finish his undergrad at FSU. He came away with an education but also a DUI and a lot of debt. He loved his time there though. Oh yeah, he also learned how to cook working at Hooters part time.

Edit: I understand the dislikes. He was a contributing member to the team in a significant way. I guess what I’m referring to is that it’s hard to keep track of these kids coming and going in one year. Bonds don’t form unlike a Sherman Douglas, who you see grow before your eyes. Or a Kris Joseph or CJ Fair develop.

Little surprised Lampkin didn't get a summer league look.

Feel like he's a dude that would be a fan favorite if he was here for 4 years and earned a starting spot. I thought he brought a lot of energy to a lack luster roster and appreciate his contributions. Hope it works out for him.
