BK or Bnoro or anyone else who has seen him recently...

I was under the impression from pics that Hale is similar in size to VanChew. Is this somewhat accurate to begin and if so does he have the genetics to fill out a little bit more then VanChew?

Just wondering about injuries and the ability to stay healthy assuming he sees playing time his next 4 years. Thanks.

Hale was listed at 6' 3" 195 lbs as a senior in HS by scout

Chew was listed at 5' 11" 165 lbs as a senior in HS by scout

Correct - were you just posting their numbers just for the information?

Yup...haven't seen Hale in person...

Saw him on the sideline on Friday night's broadcast on ESPN2. Forgot exactly which point in the game it was but the camera was panning the sideline and you could clearly see his jersey and "Hale" on the back, he was there and dressed but to my knowledge has yet to participate at all.

Gotcha - I have this genetic problem where I assume everyone is trying to be a jerk when really it's probably just me, lol. I thought maybe you were posting it trying to tell me that they're not the same size.

Gotcha...not trying to be a jerk

I do like the size of the WR's we are bringing in West, Kobena, Hale, Foster, Fleming, Cornelius and Ben Lewis all in that 6' 2" - 6" 3" range..No more Van Chew's sized football players

No he hasn't played yet. I forgot to look for him at the game because I was too busy pouting. I know from pics in H.S. he looked "lanky" like VanChew but I was wondering from any of the campus guys if it appears he's bulked up a little (for his size) or if they think he'll be able to. He was a beast at multiple events in track in GA - really hoping some of that athletic ability transfers to the field over the next few years.

He was a state champion high jumper in Tennessee if I recall correctly.

I saw him on a campus tour with Coach Moore. He was with his father and my first impression was that he was too skinny but definitely had the height. I remember thinking back then that he shouldn't see the field anytime soon. In my eyes, he just looked too weak but then again, I'm only your average joe.

He does look extremely skinny, but definately has good height. No clue about his speed or quickness.

I know it's not really what you're looking for, but SUAthletics lists him as 6'2, 185.

Not sure if I've ever seen him in person, but like Nails, if I do I'll let you know.

Last year the staff loved Flemming too, has he played at ALL this year?
