So what Pitt did to Notre Dame to almost beat the Irish was give multi-D looks that Book was not use to and blitz constantly.  Late in the third quarter he got religion and realized who to throw to and how to read those looks.  It is hard for a new QB to do that.  Once he did Notre Dame scored 2 TD's and won.  By the way Pitt had a KO return for a TD in that game.  They did not have the +3 TO's.
