As far as the Wimbush discussion is:  I heard during august practice that Book actually won the competition.  However, Kelly and the OC felt that Wimbush gave us a better chance to win over Michigan at that point in time.  Because of the aggressive D that Michigan had.  By the way Wimbush played great.  The problem is with Wimbush he is running QB not a true QB.  Book is a true QB who needs to learn more.  Wimbush passing efficiency is about 50% which is not good enough at the college level to win key games.  Because of the way Brandon played he earned e right to start against Ball St and Vandy but his reads were awful.  Everyone stacked the box he made terrible decisions.  If you watch the film in both the Vandy and Ball st game he missed 6 TD opportunities that Book would not have missed.  We were lucky because we could out athlete them but still you can lose to anyone on a given saturday. Book still needs to learn.   it took him a half in both VA tech and Pitt games to make the right reads against D's that were pressing him.  Even in the Pitt game Book had Chasepool open 95% of the time he was more worried about the different looks on the D and the blitzes than being a decision maker but the 2nd half against Pitt he broke the code.
