That's the prediction as per RealtimeRPI. http://www.realtimerpi.com/rpi_357_Men.html The actual Vegas spread is 9 or 9.5 depending on what site you are looking at. Seven teams in the top 12 are playing tonite. These are crucial as the committee usually looks at how teams play their last five or ten games in the regular season. Hopefully they all lose.

damn, 9.5 is alot of points to be getting for a ranked team playing at home. think im gonna place a little wager on miss st. anyone seen them play?? do they have a chance??? lol

I think kentucky gets quite the scare tonight

Last 10 games is no longer one of the key metrics for the committee - it has been removed. A year or two ago, they began stressing entire body of work and placing no more importance on last few games.

Nah. They'll win by 10 at least. Kentucky isn;'t losing till they play Marquette in the S16

Heard fat man Renardo Sidney was questionable for tonight.

Good call. Here is an article from Jeff Hathaway from a couple days ago which mentions that. Talks a lot about full body of work. Also talks about how the play in teams won't be playing in the first game on Thursday of the tournament. This means that Cuse most likely won't be playing in the noon game Thursday, so they will be playing in the game right after that or in the night session. If they do, I hope it's not the 9:30 pm game. Hate the sitting around all day.

Last year our first game tipped at what, 10:30 p.m.? It was ridiculous. Marquette was back in the hotel while we still had a half of basketball to play.

Teams shouldn't begin play at that hour, and better-seeded teams shouldn't get a shorter rest than their worse-seeded opponent.

Come on man. You know better to question me.

I said scare brother...not win. Right now, they are scaring them.

Yea, well, really the bulldogs might win, too. They are getting some crazy good bounces. It was really more of a jinx attempt post anyway
