Kevin Durant considers Carmelo a mentor

Kevin got to know Melo well on the Olympic team and said he was very close with the former Syracuse star. Durant said he considers Anthony kind of like a big brother who has helped mentor him a lot and sort through some of the frustrations he has had to deal with. KD added that he wants to do the same for younger players down the road.

This was said during the All Star game by David Aldridge who led in by saying a lot is being said about how competitive it is between LeBron James and Durant but the guy in the NBA he's closest with is Carmelo Anthony.

I was surprised by this. I've always heard how Melo is buddy-buddy with Lebron and CP3 but never knew his relationship with KD.
