Kevin White Duke AD being on the committee is good for us

White can talk up our win at Duke.

This stuff matters. When we got screwed in the past the Big East didn't have a member on the selection committee.

The ACC having a member on the committee is good for us. I feel like we will be in Dayton.

but (supposedly anyway) the rules state that a conference commissioner/AD cannot be in the room when any of the teams from that conference are being deliberated... hopefully is "influence" is felt in the deliberations

As politics will tell you have a lobbyist in the room is how you get stuff done. White may not be able to vote but he can talk us up which helps.

Yes he did. My google skills confirmed he was on in 1992. Not sure how long terms were back then
