The Rutgers 2pm start is a nice surprise. It's classic SU though that the 7pm start against Ohio has to be a road game. 8pm for Liberty even though its Friday is a nice touch, extra hour to tailgate albeit it will be dark as hell by that time of year. Albany start time blows, no idea why the ACC can't throw us a bone and make one of these D1AA games a night game or a 3:30 start for a change. Hell give us 12:30, something.

Average sunset time for late September in Syracuse is around 7 p.m. It'll be dark by kickoff, but not like it would be for an 8 p.m. tip off in January.

Yeah not a perfect schedule but I'm happy for the most part with these times, I do wish the Ohio game was Friday night.

The ACC needs to provide a certain number of Friday night games to meet its obligations to ESPN/ABC.

That means we are going to have at least one Friday night home game just about every season.
