A small group of Syracuse fans about a dozen seats down from us had popcorn thrown at them for the 1st half and a ‘bubba’ egging them into confrontation (they did not bite).  After the rain delay the boo birds really got going, calling me the A$$hole for Some of the dubious reffing calls (that lady was a real treat).   We fully understood we were in the belly of the beast, we were not antagonizing anyone.  They just didn’t like that we actually had the nerve to cheer for our team.

You could tell the younger generation of Clemson fans who had not experienced the down years were far less hospitable than the older fans who knew our pain and understood the excitement of watching a program turn around.
