Knee pads

When did this become optional for the NCAA? I know pop warner still has pads that come below the knees.

Not crazy about the “shorts” look from a fashion perspective but if we keep winning they could wear orange Speedos and an orange peel for a cup and I’ll be happy.

Yeah everyone blames knee issues on turf. If i tackle u and we both land on your unpadded knee your . But they are faster without them
