Unfortunately for him, in 1995, our offense also had Malcolm Thomas and Kyle MacIntosh as tailbacks, and we had Marvin Harrison and Kevin Johnson for McNabb to throw to. In 1996, we still had all three of Thomas, MacIntosh and Tebucky Jones. We had Quinton Spotwood, Deion Maddox and Jim Turner as our new WRs, and we still had Sinceno and Roland Williams at TE. Another offense with many weapons. We won 9 games again. In 1997, Konrad's junior year, he was hurt a lot. MacIntosh and Dee Brown led the running game and combined for over 1400 yards, Spotwood came into his own as our leading receiver, and Kevin Johnson really started to become a deep threat, and a "real" WR. In '98, Konrad's and McNabb's senior year, MacIntosh and Dee Brown again led a very good running game, and were now joined by James Mungro as our 3rd tailback. Konrad still suffered from injuries and didn't reach his earlier snap totals of Freshman or Sophomore year, but they really worked him into the passing game, where he had 20 catches as our fullback. Pasqualoni was trying to give him a future in the NFL by letting him learn how to be a pass-catching threat out of the backfield. He wound up with 9 touchdowns that year. A very talented player, but hurt too often, and not good enough to be the whole focal point of the offense. [/QUOTE]
