The jump shot is what it is.

But 11 Mins of Good D, 2 terrific assists, only 1 TO.

This team needed these mins, it's what we were missing in some games this year.

Kudos to JB as well for giving him some run and sitting G and Cooney a bit. I really think those breathers have helped.

We've got a legit 7-man rotation now.

With DC coming on, and Frankie say Relax, it lets the other guys go hard while they are in.
Nice to see them all playing well, and JB giving them real minutes to do so.

I know, I like the rotations much better the past 3 games. I think it helps Cooney, and I think Frank will just get better. His defense looked much better today than in any other game I recall. TC also seemed to have limitless energy at the end tearing down boards in beast mode!! It also gives G a shot at a quick breather at times - it's nice to see those guys get a blow now and again without the wheels falling off.

The way Howard played on D, that's all Hall of Fame coaching.

Fans pay more attention to offense, but the reason Howard is playing more has everything to do with defense.

MTSU had 5 shooters on the court a lot of the time, everybody in the zone had to know exactly where to be at all times, and Boeheim only had a day to teach them. Especially for Howard, who is a freshman who has struggled in the zone this year, that's a big ask. He did a great job though. Its nice to have a Hall of Fame coach.

I know Potts went 3-6 but the guy had two open shots the entire game. The perimeter D was amazing and Lydon did an excellent job inside altering and blocking shots.

If our defense can play like this and the way it did against Dayton we can beat anybody.
