Think messaging was inconsistent. I was told the only lower sears with cushions would be in the premium area near the 50. That area in Orange near the 50s (101) on home side will get club access to that new lounge area but sounded like tickets will be a lot more expensive in that section. With that you’ll get food and drinks though.I was at the one today at halftime, it was okay. Lots of food and two free drinks for all (I don’t drink though). There was no presentation or anything. We were about to leave but I decided to approach some staff and asked if they knew who my rep was, which they then gladly introduced me to him.
Some takeaways..
- They will call STH in Nov/ Dec to ask preferences for seats going forward.
- Lower bowl will have cushioned stadium seating, uppers will have stadium seating but no cushion.
- No option to upgrade upper seats to a cushion like we can now, though I asked if I can bring my own cushion and he said of course.
- There WILL be bumping, donor rank, seniority etc will all come into play.
- New pricing, though uppers may not change and could even go down in price. New premium seating options throughout and it was inferred lowers will increase in price.
To be candid I somewhat tuned out when he was talking about the premium options because that’s just not in the cards for us. I was really just more focused on bumping, pricing and cushions because I have a pinched nerve that acts up with certain chairs.Think messaging was inconsistent. There will also be premium seating option in parts of the 200s (similar to what was touted in the surveys they sent).
Lower bowl will have cup holders and be slightly larger seats than upper bowl.
Donor rank for this year will be augmented with bonus points for how long you’ve held tickets for. They’re trying to balance out recent giving with people who have had seats.
The message was a lot of people will have to adjust their seats slightly.
I’ll be curious how much reception they’ll get to the premium seat prices. I heard a 1k per ticket was the price, which is a hefty increase. But depends what kind of food and booze is included.
Didn’t get a price for the premium seats in 200s. Think that may be the one tied to basketball side. Or perhaps there will be something in the end zone too but not sure how that would work with band so suspect it’s the 200s.
How can the lounge be improved?I was at the one today at halftime, it was okay. Lots of food and two free drinks for all (I don’t drink though). There was no presentation or anything. Agree. Liked the glass facing the entry hallway. My son enjoyed going out on the field too. They did a nice job with it.To be candid I somewhat tuned out when he was talking about the premium options because that’s just not in the cards for us. The lounge was really nice though. For anyone planning to go, make sure to be outgoing and ask questions.
I don’t think it needs to be improved, it was pretty sweet. Though I suppose some historical photos of past legends would be a nice touch, but that’s just a matter of individual taste. I liked the lounge though I wouldn’t want to be there during a game. Give me the upper deck any day.How can the lounge be improved?
Sounded like only one section of 200 will be changed. Beyond that I didn’t hear much.I have been sitting in Section 210 for football for the past 32 years and would be interested in any information with regards to the 200 level seating.
I do like the fact that they will be factoring in how long a person has had season tickets when computing the donor ranking.
