and not a word anywhere...not At their request, this network is being blocked from this site.(scout); not (rivals); not ESPN recruitment; not KY board...seems very strange. So how do you think it went.

I believe it comes down to the following key points:
1. Reported that mom favors GT and that she is somewhat concerned about what has transpired at 'Cuse over past year
2. KY has the best opportunity with no competition for Nerlens to play immediately and a lot
--'Cuse has Xmas, DC2, Keita, that can play center--Fab seems gone to NBA
3. 'Cuse has MCW a very good friend of Nerlens
4. Nerlens has been to 'Cuse most often vs. other teams and likes the coaches and family atmosphere
5. 'Cuse has the better team surrounding Nerlens if he comes here
--Triche, MCW, Cooney, Dirty, CJ, Grant, Xmas, DC2, Keita...(dont know about Dion but probably gone with FAB)

This is going to be a close decision. Hopefully Nerlens comes on board. Will be interesting to see how Christmas and DC2 react to Nerlens being here...going to be quite competitive.

apparently not allowed to mention scout and rivals above--silly

Considering only him, his mother, and Cal are the only people there for the visit, I don't expect to hear anything.

Also the "reported georgetown quote" was from a poster on a message board. I could write a post right now citing a low-level assistant coach on Syracuse without a hint of truth, doesn't mean it's right.

Seems foolish to me, to go to a school who's home arena gets filled by another school who you are also considering whilst playing the considered team. Nerlens... Never Georgetown... all your D.C. are belong to us.

Does gtown even have a semi decent practice facility? Doubt it
because its g'town... i must:

"PRACTICE... NOT A GAME... PRACTICE."

- POS broke ass hoya.

I believe Nerlens can play the 4 as well...

5: DC. Xmas. Keita Nerlens
4: Nerlens. Xmas. Southy. CJ
3: CJ. Southy. Grant
2: MCW/Triche. Cooney
1: Triche/MCW

Big fight off the bench between Xmas and Southy IMO...I think we might see the following line up a lot as well...

5: Nerlens
4: Southy
3: Fair
2: MCW
1: Triche

I gotta believe if we get NN, Keita will see very little time and could possibly redshirt. I wouldn't even include him in the discussion for PT.

I also think if Nerlens comes here Grant will get limited time. I would play JS and CJ entirely at the 3. If we we're to do all of these things, I think the PT equation is doable as you'd only have the three bigs competing in the 4/5 slot. Hopefully NN or Rak will be able to play the 4 next year. I not it will be a little crowded at the 5!

Yah that's how I see it too. Get to work on that 3 CJ!

I guess you guys see something in CJ that I dont. Im all about starting Southerland at the 3 next year. We already have a shooter off the bench in Cooney.

If we get Noel, I think it will be more like:

1/2 = MCW/BT 30 mpg, Cooney 20 mpg
3/4 = Fair/Dirty 30 mpg,
4/5 = Noel 25 mpg, Rak 20 mpg, Coleman 15 mpg

8 man rotation. Varying lineups, small, pressing lineup of Noel, Dirty, Fair down low. Big, grind it out lineup with Coleman, Rak, Fair down low.

Keita redshirts, Grant gets very limited PT during OOC

I dont know the Nerlens at all, However just from what i hear bout himself and his mother

They dont sound like there going to be bought by the used car salesman act of Calapari. They are good ppl and will make the right decision for himself and his family and that will be Cuse

Main reason class

Jim Boeheim = class act

John Calapari= not

Lately JS has made a quantum leap and is ahead of CJ at this point in my book as well for the 3 spot.

I don't know if it's just me but JS seems taller than CJ and they are both listed at 6'8". Gotta believe CJ is more like 6'6".

I really think it's just a coincidence that their games have gone in opposite directions since the calendar turned to March. JB said as much on the radio today - everyone on this team has gone thru slumps. CJ's is of course more memorable because it's now.

I have asked myself a dozen times "wait he's really 6'8"? every time his height is listed; thought I was the only one.

I think Fair's getting a bad rap around here lately.

We don't win at Louisville without him. This is the guy who got the call on the final shot at UConn.

Sure, he's struggling right now, but he's only a sophomore. His mid range shot from the side was money in the bank just a couple weeks ago.

JS has been playing great, and his development for the team is obviously huge/season saving. In the end, I still think Fair has the better career at SU.

Paulie--- I think you hit the nail on the head assuming NN wears Orange.

I still love Fair's game. Just seems like what James can bring when he's playing well is a great match for our needs right now. Fair is a year younger and he's way ahead of where James was as a soph, and he's very athletic and works hard so you may well be right.
