Lack of Yankee offender makes it difficult for B plan starters to succeed

Whitely didn't pitch that bad and could have emerged a winner if the bats would have produced for him a bit. the fact is that without that offense,the Yankees can be boring to watch. Amazingly the lowly bunt is a big play which I have espoused a number of times. Execution isn't that difficult ut totally necessary.When the leadoff batter in any inning reaches second base with no outs the runner MUST score. Move him to third and get some wood on the ball to get him in.No pop ups . Put the fresking ball on the ground and get that runner home . It happens too often for the Yankees that it doesn't happen. it'd effn frustrating that either a bunt isn't called for by Joe or improperly executed as in a hard bunt back to the pitcher or directly at an infielder. Rizzuto spinning in his grave.Bunting isn't THAT difficult.Deaden the bat and allow the ball to hit the bat with a slight angle for direction.There are countless of hours of instruction from one of the Yankees best ever for this procedure.
