Do you realize that we beat Georgetown (they still suck) UConn and Louisville in a five day stretch? But the interesting thing is we beat them all in different ways!

We beat G-town in a game where we got killed on the boards. We beat UCan't by shooting lights out against a team that attacked the zone very well, and we finally beat Louisville in a defensive struggle where we hit one jump shot the whole night! We have all seen previous teams lose these type of games and we won them all in 5days!!

This is why I'm confident that they can beat any team in the country.

Gone are the games where Cuse pulled out into the passing lane and put the foot to the floor and watched the opposition fade in the rearview. But, in the midst of the games we all anticipated would be the most challangeing of the season this team is displaying that it has the talent, determination and poise to get it done. JB made the comment of how in the tournament it often comes down to making one stop, one good offensive play. That's exactly what we are seeing. A team that no matter what the difficulty du jour is, finds a way to make that play to get the win. The only sense of panic I ever see is in my own livng room when I'm watching the game. They've been sensational and they display an element which obviously is not appreciated by some people who buy into a preconcieved meme of what a championship team looks like.
Part of the strength of this team is what some people perceive as a flaw. The "no go to guy" propaganda is the flip side of the coin that says you never know who the one is that is going to have that great game or make that one special play on any given night that becomes that one JB alluded to. We've had multiple guys be the go to guy. If you have one go to guy the other team knows who to key on. It's like we hold a hand which has multiple trump cards and you don't know which one will be played in a given game.

Well said, I scream a simplified version of this to my tv when Hubert Davis says we need a "dude".

We don't need a dude but I think this is Hubie's way of saying he "needs" a dude. Anyone say DL?
