Larry Rothchild is constantly billed as a great pitching coach BUT

He has a guy moving the ball up to 98mpg and is getting hit on a regular basis. Evolve is obviously strong enough to put a spin on the ball to pretty much avoid the first sight out of the pitcher's hand and fool the batter and yet we aren't seeing it.. A hard slider may be the hardest pitch to hit. If thrown at the called location by the catcher its devastating. A guy who can light up the radar gun consistently in the mid to high 90s and have as much trouble as he is showing something s very wrong.

Alot of guys throw hard and are inconsistent, he was inconsistent before he got to the Yankees. It takes a lot more than throwing 98 to be a good pitcher.
